We are a community-based group who have been performing amateur pantomime in Derby since 1964 (we’ve more or less got the hang of it now). We have a reputation for putting on high quality, family friendly shows with a cast that blends adults, teenagers and older children. It’s hard work but great fun, and we are always keen to welcome new people who want to get involved, and not just actors. There are lots of things to do, from making costumes, props, painting scenery, admin, catering, chaperoning younger cast members, working backstage and front of house ,click here if you want to know more.
The success of our shows allows us to make annual donations to local charities that work with children and young people.
Details of the charities we have helped in recent years can be found on our News pages.
A big thank you to all our members, helpers and especially our audiences, without you none of this would happen!
We hope you enjoyed Beauty and the Beast and would welcome comments and constructive feedback from anyone who saw it, via our Contact Us page. We look forward to seeing you at Cinderella
As a group we are closely approaching our 56th Production. The focus of our surpluses has changed over the last decade and we now make quite significant donations to local children charities. We made donations totalling £3000 from our 2019 production of Beauty and the Beast.
