Audition & Script Read Through – Alice in Wonderland

St. Nicholas Players are excited to announce that our 2018 production will be Alice in Wonderland at our usual venue, St Nicholas Church Hall, Allestree Lane, Derby.
Script read through and auditions are as follows:

 

  • Script read through – Sunday 10th September 2:30pm.
  • Principal auditions – Sunday 17th September 12:00pm.​
  • ​Supporting cast & dancers auditions – Sunday 17th September 3:00pm.

 

Audition Information

The auditions are all on the same day this year, in the Church Hall at St Nicholas Church (Allestree Lane, DE22 2PE) on Sunday 11th September.

The auditions for PRINCIPALS start at 12.00 pm.

The auditions for SUPPORTING ACTORS and DANCERS start at 3.00 pm.

We will need you to sign in on your arrival and to provide your contact details including telephone numbers and email address. Please inform us on your arrival if you have to leave quickly so that we can try to audition you as soon as possible. Sorry but we are unable to tell you there and then if you have been successful in your audition but we do try to let everyone know within a day or so.

Auditions and script read-through

Anyone interested in being in the cast of our next show, Red Riding Hood, is invited to come along to the read-through of the script and the auditions.

Details are as follows.

  • Sunday 4th September – script read through, 2.00 pm at St Nicholas Church Hall, Allestree Lane (DE22 2PE).
  • Sunday 11th September – auditions for principal actors, 12.00 noon in the church hall. (Yes, Sunday lunchtime, not Friday evening as in the past!)
  • Sunday 11th September – auditions for supporting actors and dancers. 3.00 pm in the church hall.

50th Anniversary Event

Past and present members of St Nicholas Players are shown enjoying the hospitality at our 50th Anniversary event which was held on the 22nd September. The event was a resounding success! It was a great opportunity to meet old and new friends, catch up and reminisce.

Various memorabilia, cast in costumes, old and new pantomime programmes and a unique DVD sound bite which took everyone through the past five decades were on show for everyone to enjoy.
