St Nicholas Players triumph again!

So says the Derby Evening Telegraph after our first three shows last weekend, and who are we to disagree? 

They say:

 The members of St Nicholas Players have triumphed again, as they reinvent the old classic panto Jack and the Beanstalk.  

– The dancers were superb and the chorus sang beautifully.

– The costume changes come thick and fast, putting some professional performances to shame.

A shorter show? That’s the Beanstalk!

One or two people have told us that recent pantos have been a bit on the long side – so what about Jack and the Beanstalk?  How long is this year’s show?  The answer is, it’s the shortest one we’ve done in a while.  (And no, we haven’t actually chopped it – it was written that way.)  Evening performances start at 7.30 and are over by 9.30. 

It’s still a good show though, packed as always with jokes,
