You won’t doze off in Sleeping Beauty!

Derby’s St Nicholas Players have a reputation for lively traditional pantomimes with some great twists.  Sleeping Beauty, coming to Allestree during January and February 2014, is no exception.

Our witch Malaria is the most evil villain in the history of pantomime (well, since last year anyway), so when she casts a spell designed to kill Princess Rosebud on her sixteenth birthday, the queen is quite upset.  She’s even more upset when a good witch alters the spell so the princess will fall into a deep sleep (“Now we’ll never hear her beautiful voice again”).  Luckily,
